#Award: CNN Television Journalist Award 2012

The CNN Television Journalist Award in association with Indovision, seek to encourage, promote and recognize excellence in Indonesian television journalism, and to reinforce the role journalists have played in Indonesia's development.

There are four award categories which are designed to encourage submissions on a broad range of topics of public interest to Indonesia: news, features, business and education.

The CNN Television Journalist Award winner will receive an all expenses paid three week placement on a professional journalist training program - the "CNN Journalism Fellowship" held at CNN's headquarters in Atlanta, USA. The only program of its kind in the world, the winner will have an opportunity to learn and participate in international newsgathering during one of the most exciting times in the international news calendar, the U.S. Presidential Elections. Each category winner also receives a laptop computer.

The competition is open to all professional television journalists. All television entries must have aired between January 2011 to June 2012 on an Indonesian-owned broadcast channel.
